About New Wine Church
Life is made up of searching.
The search seems never ending. What we are really searching for is belonging. The place we should find belonging is the church. By design the church should be about belonging without fear, judgement or ritual. Belonging is what we are looking for, without it we have no purpose.
We are not a building, or cult, we are not a group of judgmental people, we are not straight, gay or bi, we are not male or female, adult or child.
We are children of God who are trying to figure out what it means to be who we are made to be.
Our church is a community to belong to, so that you can find out who you are supposed to be and what you are supposed to do with your life.
After much prayer, discussion with the responsible leadership of New Wine, and monitoring of the COVID-19 virus' recommended precautions in the last weeks, I, as the lead Pastor, have decided to suspend all of our scheduled gatherings until after April 12th (Easter). These include our Sunday Gathering, Restore, Cohorts, and our Men’s Spiritual Formation gatherings. This is in line with the CDC and WHO recommendations for the containment and prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
This is not a decision we take lightly, nor are we acting out of fear, but rather because our gatherings are a stewardship of souls that God has given us, in which our responsibility is to offer the healthiest, most transformative experience possible.
